We will continue improving traffic safety around schools, upgrading crossings, and designing streets that protect pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers.

We will enhance London’s open drug use strategy with coordinated outreach, enforcement, treatment pathways, and clear public-space standards.

We will be organized around delivering on Londoners’ priorities and executing the critical plans already in place. We will be deliberate, focused and accountable, ensuring plans are effectively implemented while adapting strategically as new challenges and opportunities emerge. Our Agencies, Boards, Commissions and other partners will be better coordinated and actively engaged in advancing our community priorities.

We will expand visible, trained support to help people feel safer on buses, at transit hubs, in community centres, and in busy public areas.

London’s safety metrics have improved, and we will keep driving them in the right direction with public reporting on safety, emergency response, street conditions, homelessness outcomes, and neighbourhood concerns.

We will take an aggressive approach to business retention and business development. With our economic partners rowing in the same direction, London will open its doors to investment and opportunity. We will say yes to new opportunities and refocus our internal teams on finding ways to make them happen. I will leave no stone unturned when it comes to London’s economic future.

London cannot solve every challenge alone. We will continue pressing Queen’s Park and Ottawa for the policy changes and funding needed to improve mental healthcare, addiction treatment, housing, and community safety. We will join with the 29 other large Ontario cities to demand a coordinated plan and more provincial treatment recovery spaces that are available when people need them.
